Bokeh at the Geneva Motor/Auto/Car Show

Instead of the usual gallery of hostess standing like vegetables in front of the new cars or trying to divert your eyes from the fact that all those cars look the same, I decided to follow The Pursuit of Unsharpyness quest with some Bokeh effects from the Geneva Car/Motor/Auto Show.

We have a saying : “A sharp picture or no picture”. It is either spot on or it is a spike, I went to the opposite nothing sharp and I found some pleasure there. A new space filled with bubles, something like. A sort of contemplation.

YOu can find all the techincal details of Bokeh or Boke, as it come from the Japanese on the wikipedia site.

Let me know what you think in the comments section.

Warning : Those pictures have not been taken under the influence of any products, unly the writting of this Post.

That’s a really interesting idea, Denis. It takes extra thought to make an unsharp picture look creatively intentional, almost more than a sharp one in some cases. You’ve done it perfectly here. Nice one!
